Friends and Family

5 weeks

Tomorrow will be our fifth week, and we are finally getting into a routine. Vivi is sleeping better, and so are we, so everyone's happy. She is working on her first smiles, and they are very cute. She is getting bigger every day, 11.5 pounds now! She has gone to her first restaurant, her first walk into town and she has been out shopping. We have had lots of visitors too, all of the grandparents, some friends, and a few aunts and cousins have all been by. Grandpa David and MomMom Tuttie even came all the way from Georgia to visit. Here are a few more pictures.

1 week old

Things are finally starting to settle down here. I can't believe how awesome she is. It is amazing how much you can love someone you've only known for a week. Here are some new pics, she looks so much different already. Thanks for all of the lovely comments and wishes!

It's a girl!

The big day finally arrived, and wouldn't you know it, we had a New Year's baby. Vivian Sara Yenchik was born at 12:08PM on January 1st 2008. She weighed in at a hefty 9 pounds 13 ounces. I now fully acknowledge my wife as a superhero. I've never witnessed a more amazing feat by a more amazing woman. And now I get to live with the two most beautiful women in the world! I'm one lucky guy! We can't wait for everyone to meet her once we get settled in. Oh, and sorry for the lack of posts toward the end there, but rest assured, the flood of posts and pics to come will be much more interesting. Here are a few from the first two days.

Post Vacation Haze

As you all well know, it takes at least a week to wind down from a vacation. That's my excuse for the lack of posts, take it or leave it. I'm going to go through the pictures from the wedding this weekend and get the better ones up for your viewing pleasure.

Wish you were here

Although we pretty much have to stay submerged in the pool to prevent spontaneous combustion, Treasure Island sure beats working. Well, except for the pirates.
